Sister 2 Sisterhood: Celebrating Unity & Growth

On March 22, 2025, Xi Nu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® hosted its first Sister 2 Sisterhood event—a joyful, multi-generational gathering focused on connection, growth, and sisterhood.

Organized by the Membership, Sisterly Relations, and Executive Committees, the event featured heartfelt conversations moderated by Mary Finch and Tracy Robinson, centered around the theme: Listen, Learn, Lead, and Leverage.

Adding energy and fun, Vice President Sydney Adams led the room in spirited line dances that had everyone on their feet. Her energy and enthusiasm brought smiles to every face and reminded us that joy is a vital part of our sisterhood.

Special thanks to Elizabeth Chambers, Tamikka Jackson, and Jennifer Ellis-Jackson for their leadership and vision. Sister 2 Sisterhood was more than just an event—it was a celebration of who we are as a chapter and as a sisterhood. It highlighted the beauty of our shared experiences, the wisdom of our elders, and the promise of our future leaders. Together, we are stronger, and gatherings like this remind us of the power we hold when we come together in love and unity.
