Monarch Awards Foundation, Inc. Celebrates Earth Day with a Butterfly Garden Cleanup

In alignment with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.’s® “Enhance Our Environment” initiative, Xi Nu Omega Chapter and the Monarch Awards Foundation proudly hosted an Earth Day Spring Cleanup at the Butterfly Garden at Lenart Regional Gifted Center.

This hands-on environmental effort focused on revitalizing the garden by trimming dead brush and preparing the space for new growth. These actions not only beautify the area but also create a nurturing habitat for butterflies at every stage of their life cycle—supporting biodiversity and environmental education for the community.

The Butterfly Garden Cleanup is a testament to our ongoing commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. By caring for our green spaces, we are investing in a healthier, more vibrant future for our neighborhoods and the planet.
