From June 1–8, 2025, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® – Xi Nu Omega Chapter proudly participated in NPHC Chicago’s Greek Week, joining fellow Divine Nine organizations in a powerful celebration of service, sisterhood, and community.
The week began with a spirit of unity at Salem Baptist Church, where members gathered for a moving Ecumenical Service filled with worship, praise, and fellowship among Greeks, families, and friends. From there, the chapter leaned into purpose-driven programming that uplifted both mind and mission:
Men’s Health Month was spotlighted through an engaging webinar and social campaign, promoting early detection and holistic wellness.
Money Matters Institute empowered attendees with financial literacy tools to build generational wealth—while celebrating Delta Omicron Sister Kailyn Williams, honored as a scholarship recipient.
Ice Cream Social offered sweet moments of connection and support for local Black-owned businesses, fostering fellowship across chapters.
Black & White Party brought elegance and joy, creating lasting memories in celebration of unity and style.
Community Service took center stage at the Greater Chicago Food Depository, where members joined forces to support families in need.
Family Greek Cookout closed the week with food, fun, and a high-energy Stroll-Off that had everyone on their feet.
Xi Nu Omega’s presence throughout Greek Week was a testament to our enduring commitment to excellence, leadership, and collective impact. We thank every Soror who showed up with pride and purpose, representing our chapter with grace, strength, and sisterhood. Together, we continue to build bridges, uplift communities, and honor the legacy of Black Greek unity.
